Games & Bytes Co: Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy is from Ensphere Pty Ltd trading as Games & Bytes Co (ABN 51 133 093 071).

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

Change of mind

Every Games & Bytes Co tee is printed to order just for you. Because of that, we don't offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind, choose the wrong size or colour, or no longer want the item. Please check our Size Guide before you order.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including if your item is faulty, misprinted, the wrong item or not as described.

When something is wrong

Contact us if your order:

  • is faulty or damaged (for example, the print is peeling, cracking or faded on arrival, or there's a hole or broken seam);
  • is misprinted, or the design doesn't match the product page;
  • is the wrong item, size or colour compared with what you ordered;
  • isn't as described; or
  • doesn't arrive (see our Shipping Policy).

Misprints, wrong items and damage in transit are always fixed at our cost.

Major and minor failures

Major failure. A major failure is a serious problem: for example, the item is unsafe, very different from its description, or has a problem that means you wouldn't have bought it if you'd known. For a major failure, you choose:

  • a refund; or
  • a replacement (if one is available).

You may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.

Minor failure. A minor failure is a problem that can be fixed in a reasonable time. For a minor failure, we choose whether to repair, replace or refund. For most of our products, that will usually be a replacement. If we don't fix a minor failure within a reasonable time, you can ask for a refund or replacement, or have it fixed elsewhere and ask us to cover the reasonable cost.

How to make a claim

  1. Email shop@ensphere.com.au with your order number, a short description of the problem, and clear photos of the item, the problem and the label.
  2. We'll reply within 2 business days.
  3. If we need the item back, we'll send you a prepaid return label or refund your reasonable return postage. You won't pay to return a faulty, misprinted or wrong item. Often we won't need it back at all.
  4. We'll then send your replacement or refund.

Proof of purchase. You may need to show proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email, order number, receipt or a bank or card statement.

When to claim. Please tell us as soon as you can after you notice a problem. For misprints, wrong items and damage in transit, we ask that you contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can check it with our print partner. This is a request to help us sort it out quickly. It is not a time limit on your rights. The consumer guarantees last for a reasonable time, depending on the product and how it has been used, and we'll assess every claim under the ACL.

What isn't a fault

These are not faults on their own, but if you're unsure, contact us and we'll look at it:

  • slight differences in colour between your screen and the printed item;
  • small variations in print placement, within normal print-on-demand tolerances;
  • measurements within the garment maker's stated tolerance shown in our Size Guide;
  • normal wear and tear, or damage caused by not following the care instructions on the label.

Refunds

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method. If you paid with a buy-now-pay-later service (such as Afterpay), the refund is applied to that account and your instalments are adjusted under its terms.
  • We process approved refunds within 5 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take a few more days to show it.
  • For a full refund of a faulty or wrong order, we also refund the shipping you paid for that item.
